Ecce Homo 2002
This circuit in the little Moravian town has got a
doubtful reputation among the racers as it is 8 km long full with
hair-raiser bends. There have been car races here for 31 years and
the circuit has seen a fatal accident as well - in 1951 a racer
called Solykova skidded sideways in the 5th bend and died. Today
this bend is named after him. Since the previous race in 2001, which
the Italians left, the circuit had been made safer. Both the weather
and the technology helped László Szász win
the race in 2002.
