Estrela (Portugal)

László Szász had no luck in the Portuguese hill race in Estrela. After his
fourth place in El Fito he visited his friend, Ander Vilarino in his home,
who had an accident in Rechberg. The last-year champion of the
European Hill Championship probably can’t participate in the races of
this year, because his injured knee needs 4-5 mounth for the recovery.

László Szász also had difficulties in the Estrela-round, because he hit a
cliff with his car in the second lap. Fortunatly he didn’t injure, but his car
needs some repairing. This works are being done in their car-repair
shop at home by the repairmen. The car must be done for the
Hungarian Orfû race at the weekend, and the next round of the
European Hill Championship. This will be on the 3-4-th of June in Ecce
Homo, Czech Republic.

It is a strange, but the final result of the Estrela round was decided by
the table of the jury. The Italian Regosa, who came the second, put in a
caveat against the first Ingo Martinez car. As it turned out, a part of
Martinez car was irregular, so he was disqualified from the race. After
this the winner will be Giulio Regosa. Maybe this caused, that László
Szász is still stands fourth place on the Europen Championship’s list.

The final result of the portuguese-round:
1. Giulio Regosa
2. Renzo Napione
3. Otokar Krámsky
4. Milan Svoboda
5. Angela Vilarino
